Curling in the desert

Curling is a sport known for its cold climate. But here in Phoenix, one local rink is on a mission to bring this sport from the television into the community. After its explosion in popularity after the Winter Olympics, curling is quickly becoming a sport that seems approachable for many people. In this video report, the Coyote Curling Club is on full display for interested participants. And as it turns out, the sport is designed for a wide variety of people, with a goal of expanding into more desert areas, in order to break the stigma that it is only played in colder climates.
